This may seem surprising, yet most of those who have had the chance to discover our Prealps and visit the Savoyard vineyards are surprised and enthusiastic by the originality and beauty of the sites. Head to the Chartreuse Regional Nature Park to explore the vineyards of Abymes and Apremont.
According to your wishes (of weather forecast) :
- about an hour's walk in the vineyards overlooking the valley. Great views guaranteed
- Or climb (by vehicle) to the Col du Granier to discover the impressive north face of the mountain which is so important for the local vineyards
Then, generous tasting of the local wine in the middle of vineyards together with Rioutes de Savoie (a local specialty)

Discovery of the Chignin vineyard with its superb very steep slopes, its vintages full of sun (which you will have tasted at the winemaker's) and always a superb view.
