Inspirational break

Day 1

You will discover the old town of Annecy in an incredibly fun-filled way. Riddles to solve, markers to look for... feel like a child again as you stroll around Annecy’s historic centre. Arcade-lined streets, brightly-coloured facades, canals and bridges give the Old Town a one-of-a-kind architectural style.
After lunch in the historic centre, you will embark for a private cruise and discover a few of the hidden treasures of Europe’s purest lake!

Day 2

You will start the day in an entertaining way by enjoying an ever-so easy stand-up paddle session. Just let yourself go and enjoy exploring the wild shores of Lake Annecy at your own pace!
Then, it’s time to enter the world of fire with a trip to the Fonderie Paccard, one of the last working bell-casting foundries in France today. You will visit the workshops or – depending on the day – see bells being cast... fascinating moments guaranteed! Or, if you prefer, discover Savoyard traditions through costumes and objects at the Lake Annecy Eco-museum... an unusual trip through time.

After lunch, you will set off in a VW Kombi for a trip away from the lakeshores into the Alpine pastures of the Aravis Mountains. Here you will have the chance to take part in cheesemaking and, of course, enjoy a tasting session... before heading back to Annecy.

Day 3

Morning trip to Lake Geneva and the Château de Ripaille.
This former Carthusian monastery, which was once a residence of the Dukes of Savoie, weaves its incredible web of history and nature. The buildings and surrounding gardens will enchant you. At the end of the visit, you will sit down to a cold buffet lunch accompanied by Ripaille AOC wine.
Then it’s on to Evian, famous throughout the world for its mineral water, where you will set sail on a solar-powered boat and head for the astonishing Pré Curieux Water Gardens.
Dinner will be served in the evening in the sumptuous casino in Evian.

Day 4

Today, you will cross over the border into Switzerland, just on the other side of the lake! A 35-minute boat trip takes you directly to Switzerland’s most well-known speciality: chocolate. You will discover all about chocolate during a workshop and also try your hand at making some sweet delights.

Then it’s back on-board the boat for the return trip which marks the end of your stay!
